Well, that doesn't really make them "well-thought" or maybe they are, just you didn't do the well-thinking...do you believe those answers? i think maybe they're too brief.
Okay brother - I've thought about it...but these ideas mainly came while I was on the tram today, so I might have to keep working on them. Here they are:
Sin - sin is more than just a willful disobediance of God - I don't think that God in himself is a rulemaker. God is LOVE and therefore since we are created in his image, everything we do and say should reflect that LOVE...so SIN itself is any act or thought that goes against LOVE. So in that way I don't think that God is a rulemaker...the ten commandments are all good and everything but if you act out of love in any way you will end up be breaking one of those "rules".
Salvation - I think of salvation as the "thing" we will acheive if we are followers of God...I think it's a liberation of the possibility of SIN...like we live our whole lives on this earth avoiding the temptation of SIn and living God's love and when we receive salvation we are free from that burden and we are able to live fully with God for the rest of eternity.
Faith - I think of faith as the thing that gets us through sin and onto salvation. I used to think of faith as something that helps us believe in God in the first place - but now I separate belief and faith...I think faith assumes we have belief and faith keeps us steadfast (now I did get that word from the Catholic encylopedia, but only because it was what I was thinking but I couldn't find a word to put to it, so it is my thought!) and to help us realize the salvation that we are striving for.
Ok Dan, I am covering a few of these questions in my religious studies and Worldview classes...
Sin is the breaking of the covenant relationship established by the Creator. When we ate of the tree, we were telling God that we were not dependent on him (which is what the tree stood for). Sin is a metaphorical revolt against the Creator or covenant disobedience.
I can only take one question at a time though. I will look at the other questions, but remember I have a life outside of you. *winks*
Well, I want to give my answer, the short mommy version since I have little time these days. I believe that although my answers are short, they are truthful to me.
Sin tastes nice and spicy, but will have its revenge. Salvation is when it gets flushed away and you have super soft TP. Faith is patience to wait for Salvation.

Other people's blogs aren't suppose to mean work for me...
ok Dan -
Sin - the willful disobeyance of the word of God
Salvation - intimate relationship with God that results in you being made complete
Faith - belief in God and his power and grace
Ok I kind of cheated there was a sermon on this things today by John Bevere so those definitions are what he thinks.
Does this count?

Oh sorry Spencer, I didn't realize these questions had no application to your life outside of me :P
Obviously...

Sin is me,
Salvation is Christ,
Faith is my daily walk from sin to salvation.
Thanks :)

I like these ones:
Sin-(since you used the target pic)- missing the mark
Salvation- freedom from the consequences of personal/corporate sin (see above)
Faith- conviction that salvation (see above) is yours and allows life to be enjoyed and death not to be feared
